CalFast XT is a rapid assay which provides with quantitative results of Calprotectin in stool. This uses lateral flow technology applied to a support card to which the sample is added and the colour band is detected and quantified by dedicated reader. The reader uses a lot specific calibration curve to calculate the Calprotectin concentration.
